Rolls-Royce Marine Hamburg

Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, continues the expansion of its global marine services network with a new facility in Hamburg. The facility will provide state-of-the-art repair and overhaul expertise to its German customers.

The design of the building is in line with the latest Rolls-Royce company standards. The new building will provide ca. 2200 m2 gross storey area with a potential growth option in the future. The new facility will employ up to 70 people when fully operational.

The new site benefits from being located within one of Europe ́s busiest commercial ports. While the façade with its metal panels and joint grid is giving the building a precise and precious appearance, the interior design remains functional in relation to its industrial dedication. From the outside you can clearly identify the segmentation into the higher shop area with its 30 t crane bridge and the lower part of the building which con- tains the lobby, social rooms and technical services on the ground floor and the office area with its open panorama window on the first floor.
