Misunderstandings, stumbling blocks, errors, egoism, human error – many factors can cause a ship to falter on the high seas. The activities of the individual crew members then inevitably focus more and more on their own survival and no longer on reaching the destination as a crew. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the point of view of most clients, absenteeism rates, endless meetings, poor work results, loss of productivity and know-how, fluctuation and ultimately jeopardizing the overall project goals are not very pleasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are relaxed about the cost of avoidable conflicts and time and money are not an issue, you need read no further. Otherwise, there are other ways: with professional support, you can use your team’s capabilities more efficiently to achieve your project goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not just about facing conflicts before they escalate and consume endless amounts of energy. It’s also about recognizing potential in conflicts, pointing out differences, learning from them and evaluating interests, skills and arguments neutrally and objectively. In this way, you and the crew can find the optimum pace for the project and ensure that everyone is rowing in sync. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat floats best when the weight of all passengers is evenly distributed. Work on board is more effective when everyone concentrates on what they are good at. However, this also requires everyone to pull themselves together: a culture of error must be established in the project from the outset that allows conflicts to be dealt with openly, controversially and in a solution-oriented manner. This means that steering maneuvers are considered and coordinated with the crew, icebergs are identified in good time and circumnavigated together, and mistakes made by individual crew members are compensated for by others. The ship stays on course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
