Production expansion<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airfoil Services Sdn Bhd (ASSB) specializes in the repair of blades for high-pressure compressors (HPC) and low-pressure turbines (LPT) of aircraft engines. Production is to be expanded while the plant remains in operation and supplemented by a new building. The project started in August 2018 and is currently in the implementation phase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both shareholders, Lufthansa Technik and MTU Aero Engines, each stand for the highest level of expertise in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of individual parts and assemblies such as engines, right through to complete aircraft. By pooling this expertise in Malaysia, a center of excellence for the repair of engine blades has been created there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
