THE NEW “GARTENFELD” IN BERLIN
The project will be a role model for urban development in the 21st century. OPM is taking over project management and project control for this project. “The New Garden Field will be a neighborly urban quarter and an urban laboratory for testing innovative urban development and mobility,” says the press. On the western outskirts of Berlin in the district of Spandau, an entire island, the Gartenfeld, will be redesigned from 2020. The goal: communal and self-organized urban living for all generations and a diverse mix of providers and types of housing.
