Already in the development phase, the project was accompanied by OPM with the preparation of the User Requirement Specification (URS). The goal was to build a production facility that combines optimized process flows, customized logistics and state-of-the-art plant technology under one roof. The basis for this was the prior determination of functional space concepts for the design and arrangement of the required operating equipment and production steps in relation to each other.
From the initial idea to the finished construction: The 14,500 m² production facility was put into operation at the beginning of 2017. The realized hall layout guarantees very good competitiveness due to a high degree of automation and optimal machine utilization.
In the sense of Industry 4.0 and to optimize and maximize value creation, new IT functionalities for autonomous production control were implemented.
OPM accompanied the project in Frankfurt’s Osthafen up to the commissioning for the successful completion of the overall project. Thanks to a fast and solution-oriented approach, the project was realized and completed on schedule.
