We are delighted to announce a landmark achievement in the transformation to CO2-free mobility in aviation. As part of their hydrogen research, DLR and Rolls-Royce have ignited an airworthy combustion chamber with hydrogen instead of kerosene for the first time in the world. This achievement marks a groundbreaking first in hydrogen technology and was recently featured in the news. This key milestone, featured in the latest news, underlines our involvement not only in the research project but also in the creation of a high-pressure combustion chamber test bench at DLR, Cologne, known as HBK5 This milestone is of enormous importance for the further development of hydrogen combustion technology.
